I rarely work with traditional white & green florals, in general I am quite a colourful florist!
Although I believe it's always great to work in different ways, and explore different techniques to your norm.
Recently I had the pleasure of bringing my lovely couple's classic vision to life for their beautiful Hampton Court House wedding.
The brief called for a contemporary yet classic look, embracing traditional white and green florals which complimented the agave green bridesmaid dresses and the interior decoration at Hampton Court House dining room perfectly.
The high level table arrangements provided dramatic focal points, drawing attention upwards and creating some three dimension in the space, while the contemporary low-level footed bowl arrangements provided an intimate feel for seated guests, drawing the eye back down.
Elegant tapered dinner candles in tall glass sleeves and votives were positioned throughout the dining room, adding a magical twinkle to the room, creating a romantic ambiance as the day turned into night and complimenting the traditional white & green florals.
Most of my clients (and clients to be) tend to come to me with quite colourful briefs (which don't get me wrong, I love), so I have only worked with a handful of white weddings to date... but I'm more than happy to mix thinsg up... If you have a colour palette in mind that you'd like to dscuss, I would love to hear from you!
Here are a few photos of the day. Beautiful Julia and her bridesmaids.
