A walled garden party wedding · Florals that were loose, wild and quietly beautiful

A warm May morning, a walled garden at the Four Seasons Hampshire, and a brief that felt completely at home with both.
Natural and whimsical at its heart, but with a contemporary edge that kept things feeling fresh — exactly the kind of design I love.
The old walled garden setting provided the perfect setting. Think old brick walls, neatly clipped hedging, and perfect light for a clear spring day in the English countryside.
The Table
The layout was a single long caterpillar table — guests on both sides, stretching the full length of the space. Down the centre, a continuous floral meadow ran from end to end without a break. No individual arrangements, no gaps — just one flowing, layered run of blooms and foliage that moved and breathed as a whole.
The Flowers
The palette sat in whites, creams and the softest blush, with structural blooms lifting the eye and stopping it wandering too quickly.
A few of the kflowers:
White Hydrangeas
The volume and softness of the whole design. Big, blowsy, and generous.
Gypsophila
Frothy and light — woven through everything to add movement and air.
Tall Alliums
Structural, bold, and a little bit wild.
Agapanthus
Elegant, bringing height.
Ruffled Ranunculus
Quietly the showstopper - truly one of my favourites
Majolika Spray Roses
Soft blush sprays, a perfect additiona to any white wedding
The sun was out, the garden was at its very best, and by the time guests arrived the table looked exactly as it should: full, natural and a little bit special.
